I have spent 20 years in the media industry, as a writer, editor, strategist, and product person. So media products are really what I do best. I especially like things that cut across the editorial/tech divide.

As a journalist, I have worked in editorial and management roles at DIE WELT, BILD, VANITY FAIR, NEUE ZÜRCHER ZEITUNG, and others. My written work has also been published in DER SPIEGEL, DIE ZEIT, CAPITAL, A&W, as UPDAY ORIGINALS, by LUFTHANSA, and in some other places.

As a product manager, I have worked for AXEL SPRINGER, BUSINESS INSIDER, SAMSUNG NEWS, NZZ, and FUNKE PUBLISHING, on apps, websites, CMS development, AI reco/personalisation, messaging, newsletters, and all sorts of other stuff. I have also done some agency work, mostly in the politics space. Some products I have helped building are here.

I also coach organisations on setting up, structuring and running product teams. Ping me, if you think I might be helpful.

I am, or have been, a mentor at HACKS/HACKERS, LSE GENERATE and the NEXT MEDIA ACCELERATOR, and an alumnus of CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY and the LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND POLITICAL SCIENCE. My CV is here.
